100 Hour Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh, India

The 100-Hour Yoga Teacher Training curriculum runs parallel to the 200-Hour course, and introduces the question, "What is Yoga?" This is the foundation of your journey for the next 15 days and 14 nights, while we explore Hatha Yoga postures, as well as introduce Sanskrit terms for each asana.
Students are exposed to a foundational understanding of the human organism according to Western science and Ayurveda, to create a bridge between Eastern and Western ideologies and help students begin making connections for themselves.
This intensive 100-Hour Yoga Teacher Training Course in Rishikesh, India, is designed for beginner to intermediate level yoga aspirants unable to be away from home for too long a period at one time. The RYT 200 hour course is divided into two phases, each lasting two weeks.
Complete Phase I, 100-Hour Yoga Teacher Training Course in India, then continue your journey, by signing up for a second two-week course of our scheduled 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training courses in Rishikesh, India. Students must complete both 100-Hour Phases at YogaMea School. Credits are not-transferable to other Yoga schools.
After completing both phases, and having successfully passed the final assessments (last week of training), students receive an international certificate: RYT 200 approved by the Yoga Alliance, USA.

Prerequisite: A minimum of 2 years of practice by way of public classes, private lessons, or watching videos. Consistent practice isn’t necessary - 1-3 days a week is sufficient. No prior yoga training certification is necessary to enroll for this course.

* The full scope of these topics will span both phases of the 100-hour content. It is advisable that returning students complete both phases of the 100-hour curriculum to have a complete exposure to both modules comprising the Yoga Alliance, USA, approved the 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training curriculum.

  • Students completing Phase I of the 100-Hour Yoga Teacher Training courses are required to complete Phase II before being eligible for RYT 200-Hour certification.
  • Students completing either phase of a 100-Hour Yoga Teacher Training course must complete their assessments based on written as well as practical evaluation. Assignments are given during Week 1, Phase I, 100-Hour Yoga Teacher Training course.
  • Part of the overall evaluation is student conduct and adherence to the Code of Conduct, including maintaining 90% attendance for the entire course in order to be eligible to complete the Final Assessment.
  • Yoga teachers who have completed all requirements of the 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training Course will be given a YogaMea School Certificate confirming they complied with the requirements for training and teaching experiences according to Yoga Alliance, USA, standards.
